The Ebonyi State Deputy Governor, Her Excellency Patricia Obila;wife of the Deputy Governor of Bayelsa State,Mrs Beatrice Ewhrudjakpo and two Deputy Speakers,Hon.Ojo Olayiwola of Kwara State House of Assembly and his Adamawa State counterpart, Hon. Mohammed Buba Jijiwa are among the personalities nominated for this year’s Prowess University’s honorary doctorate degree award.The program which is in collaboration with Leadtimes Africa Magazine and the Institute of Arts Management & Professional Studies (IAMPS) will hold at the University of Lagos next week.During the ceremony,a young Nigerian business icon and a philanthropist,Chief Jude Chidera Eze, will receive double honor as winner of the Prestigious Leadtimes Africa Businessman of the Year Award and also a winner of Doctor of Business Administration (honoris causa) of PROWESS University Delaware,USA during the summit.According to Professor Prince Chidi Nwauba who doubles as African Representative of Prowess University Deleware,USA and Registrar/CEO of Institute of Arts Management and Professional Studies (IAMPS) said in a press statement:” notable Nigerian professionals and business icons are to be honored with the PROWESS University’s honorary doctorate degree award in recognition of their outstanding leadership qualities that is anchored on integrity, transparency, and accountability in quality service delivery.
Other prominent business icons listed for the honorary doctorate degree award at the occasion include the Managing Director/CEO of Bowa-gate Global Services,Mr Abiodun Adeyemo who is nominated for honor in Business Administration including the CEO of Dante and Wedge Global Resources Limited,Habib Aminu Kani; and Mrs Jumai Ahmadu,founder and CEO of Helpline For Needy Foundation,Abuja,FCT who will be conferred upon with Doctor of Social Policy and Administration (honoris causa).
Other leading awardees at this epic ceremony include the General Overseer of Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministry Pastor Dr. Daniel Kolawole Olukoya and Amb.Capt Emmanuel LordsGreat Oluwatobi,founder and CEO of TBS Aviation,who are primed to bag honorary doctorate degree in Strategic Management and Human Development respectively at the occasion for their various contributions in national development.Mrs Akwy Ohagwa Effiong, Managing Director/CEO of ATES OKWY Limited is expected to bag Doctor of Business Administration (honoris causa) at the ceremony.

The theme of this year’s
edition is titled: “Curbing the excesses of kidnapping and armed banditry in Africa through good Governance in Leadership-Panacea to Nigeria’s Food Security Challenges and Sustainable Development.”
Arc.(Dr.) Alaba Abiodun Oduniyi,FNIA,a past Prowess University’s honorary awardee and Managing Director/CEO of Sihouette Design & Build Limited will serve as Special Guest at the ceremony,among other dignitaries. A renowned security Consultant and professional, Dr.(Amb.) Ezekiel Osadahomen, PhD, JP, and CEO of THEMS Security systems Limited is expected to serve as guest Lecturer at this epic- making event.

Also, Adeyemi Samuel Alabi, a US-based Nigerian professional is expected to bag honorary doctorare degree in HealthCare Administration.
